Refurbishment Process


We have a team of builders that work full time in the area refurbishing the properties to be the best standard in the area. 

We are a Preferred Letting Agent of County Durham Council so the properties are all up to at least the Durham Decent Home Standard. 


The amount of work will vary depending on the original state of the property but normally include the following;

  • New Boiler
  • Electrical upgrade and Report
  • Damp proof course
  • Hard Wired Smoke Alarm
  • External Extraction in Bathroom
  • Plastic Cladding in bathrooms / toilets
  • Carpet, Lino, underlay
  • Kitchen / bathroom
  • Double Glazing
  • General decorating
  • Overhaul of the roof, guttering and fascias
  • Painiting of external headers and sills
  • Tidying of external yard / garden space

Any snagging issues following our refurbishment are resolved free of charge in the first 6 months following your purchase.
